Learning for Life
Learning for Life is a Character Development program that has been successful at Longfellow. Learning for Life was developed by professional educators and child development experts. The curriculum consists of age-appropriate and grade-specific lesson plans that are designed to reinforce school, ethical and academic skills in such areas as critical and creative thinking, character-education activities, soft skills, practical living skills, building self worth, writing and other language arts, and participating citizenship.
Learning for Life lesson plans are available K-8 and are taught by our teachers in Spanish. Each grade level has an identified program, Grades 3 - 4 is the Discover Program.
